On the first Monday of every month, we are proud to honor our Military Personnel with 50% off. In addition to Military Mondays, we’re pumped to announce our partnership with A Million Thanks – whose mission is to provide support and appreciation to our active and veteran military men and women through sending letters and granting betterment of life wishes. Beginning on the first Military Monday in May, all PDQ locations will further honor our service men and women through a company-wide partnership with A Million Thanks to invite our Guests to coloring/design personalized thank you letters to be sent to our troops. GOAALL! Last week our PDQ Columbia crew fueled up more than 200 future soccer stars at University of South Carolina’s Fan Appreciation Clinic. Girls ages 5-12 came out to practice some drills, and show off their soccer skills with the USC Women’s Soccer Team. This marks the 8th event the team has hosted, and is their way of saying thank you to the local community for their continued support season after season. Go Gamecocks!
In honor of Autism Awareness month, PDQ Julington Creek showed off their creative skills by creating a customized life-size PDQ puzzle where guests can donate $2 – instead of purchasing our buffalo bleu sandwich to support our #EatBleu campaign – and color in their own puzzle piece!
A little friendly competition never hurt anybody. Our North Texas’ Cornhole tournament benefitting the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County is in full swing! Good character calls for a celebration! Our pal Titus O’Neil stopped by Sligh Middle School, in Hillsborough County this past week to kick off his new “Champions of Character” program. PDQ is excited to team up with Titus, and the Hillsborough County School Board to give back to kids in the Tampa Bay area who have demonstrated great character this month.
Our Gainesville gang teamed up with the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and served up grilled tenders at their recent fundraiser to support their philanthropy, The Josh and Friends Project (designed to help children in overcoming their fears of going into a hospital). More than 100 students, faculty, staff and their families attended to contribute funds to go towards the purchase of Josh puppies and “I’ll Be O.K.” books for countless children receiving treatment at Shands Children’s Hospital. Awesome!
